So, it's a bleak, dark, cold winter day with flat light outside and "frozen belt buckle" temperatures. I have a little rare free time and I'm itching to "mess" with my camera. What do I shoot? Wait - here is a box of old computer stuff. In it there is an old tape backup cartridge. Hmmm, I wonder what it would look like if I take the screws out of the cover and pull the tape out and pile it up on the table? I take a few shots, put them in PhotoShop Elements, play with filters and - here is one result. I did a few different variations of this. I kind of like it. It was fun. So - there is never "nothing to shoot".
